Win the audience, get the show.

They all dream of being a household name, of having their finger on the pulse of the nation. Are they the next Letterman, Oprah, Regis or Barbara? We give them just nine weeks to win the public over. Nine different shows where they will each have a chance get your vote as the next top host. It’s a trial by fire, anything can happen and the audience is taking no prisoners.

Each week the nine contestants are on set (or recreated sets) of the top rated shows – with that program’s host watching from the sidelines. Their mission, to win by owning the format, captivating the viewers and showcasing their own unique personality. All while trying to avoid being eliminated by you the TV audience.

To help them prep for their moment in front of the camera they have an entourage worthy of any top host. An agent, a producer, an assistant, a coach and PR person- everything they need to nail that interview, ensure a successful show and get the edge on their competition.

Each week the bottom candidate, the one rated lowest by the television audience is sent packing while the winning contestant, the one with the most votes will get the privilege of introducing the next weekly prime time. There is no official host for the HOST since that is what they are all vying for.

Each week the HOST takes on a different format and set. They will have to master breaking news, entertainment news, celebrity interview, sports casting, a game show, reality TV show, talk show and a late show. The final challenge will be a glitzy red carpet VIP event.

Drama ensues as each candidate attempts to best the others and things may get personal in the race to become the HOST. The one left standing will have the name recognition, love and support of the viewers who ultimately chose them ensuring that whatever TV show they host later will be a winner.
